And then after a few weekends, it was tore down. But it did have dice (no, not the magazine, actual dice) valve stem covers. She was a majestic steed complete with Fat-Bob® (or SportBob?) style tank, "Live To Ride" crap, chrome covers over everything, and a cheap fake leather toolbag. After doing a little digging (and dealing with Craigslist scammers) I found a '91 Sportster. So I did what any red blooded American would do, dream about getting a Harley Davidson. I learned a lot of things and with this one being pretty much done I felt like I needed something new to work on. But it was also my first semi-custom bike. Sound's good, plenty of power, and wasn't too expensive. The air was warm and I just finished my '78 Yamaha SR500. Now that that is out of the way, on with the build. I thought Chop Cult was supposed to be "self-regulating" or "group regulating"? So in the spirit of that one dude in Young Guns, "Regulators, mount up". Seriously, take a step back and look at some of the sweet bikes that have had build threads on here (like BCM's Sportster) and then also look at some of the other crap (the 06 sporty thread that has pictures in separate threads and that's not taking into account the bike) (or the countless Nightster bolt on threads).

After seeing some of the crap (yeah, it's time to start calling it out) that's on here I figured maybe it's time to add to the "good" (and hopefully mine is good) pile.
